Who
Carlos and Maria Rodriguez gave up successful careers in Miami to bring the Gospel to unreached Amazonian tribes. They now live in Manaus and make regular expedition trips deep into the rainforest.

Why
Their Calling
We were on a missions conference when we heard about tribes in the Amazon that had never heard the name of Jesus. We looked at each other and knew — we had to go.
Testimony
Last year we saw the first-ever believers among the Yanomami in our region. They are translating songs into their language and the church is growing!

Prayer Requests
Tikuna Language Learning
The Rodriguez family is working on learning the Tikuna language so they can begin sharing the Gospel directly without a translator. This is a complex language with few resources. Pray for supernatural breakthrough.
New Believers in Yanomami Tribe
The first Yanomami believers in our region are facing pressure from their community. Pray that their faith holds firm, that they would experience God's presence, and that more of their family members would come to faith.
